L'Orée du Bois

Right in the middle of Provence, in the territory of the village of Gordes, you will discover L’Orée du Bois.

In the immediate area of the oak forest, with a magnificent and protected view on Gordes, this small hamlet with its five traditional dwellings built in local stone scattered over an area of 20,000 m2 (with 3 swimming pools) is awaiting you the whole year around.

Each house is converted into several apartments (intended for 2 to 6 persons), which all in all amount to 24.

You will appreciate these Provençal-style, totally equipped houses, which, without in the least giving up modern housing comfort, are all designed in old materials.

Each apartment, from the smallest to the largest, is equipped with satellite television and has a private shaded terrace allowing you taking your breakfast or dinner while facing the magnificent gardens.

Right on the spot you will find a petanque field, a ping-pong and volley court as well as a launderette and a grocery ...
As for the youngest, they can go on the slide, play in the sandbox or enjoy lots of other games at their disposal.

Leisure activities

Whether you are keen on sports, a lover of open spaces, an enthusiast of culture or if you are looking for thrills, you will not get bored during your holidays.

The regional nature park of the Luberon is propitious for numerous walks that are either accessible for children or intended for more experienced hikers.

You can also discover the region by boat on the Rhône from Avignon.
If you want to practise a sport, the activities are legion: horse riding, go-karting, quad, paragliding, “accro branche”, rowing, canoeing, microlighting, fishing, and many more.
