" I work varied lands, color, texture, the base of which remains the Stoneware of Puisaye. They allow me to establish contrasts and sets which will remain perceptible after the enamelling. The association between the ground and the enamels, after a cooking in 1300° in reduction, becomes very intimate. I like this unity, this solidity, this tension. A particular care, of pictorial and poetic character, is brought to the animation of surfaces in a direct and sincere expression : work in the brush, printings. Freedom to express myself through a palette finalized since around thirty years. "
