In the historic center of Apt and just a step from the pedestrian street, the restaurant le Platane benefits from a beautiful room with brilliant colors and from a pleasantly shaded and green internal terrace.

The comfortable room of 35 places with a contemporary decoration and wrought iron tables welcomes original paintings.
The terrace decorated with a fountain, a beautiful mulberry tree and an imposing jasmine can contain 45 people.

Gourmet stopping place after the exceptional market of Apt on saturday noon, you will savour a gilthead bream or a bass with fennel in the shade of the mulberry tree.

Regional wine list completed by some flasks of inescapable naming.

Gilles Lepoint and Cyrille Petit's cooking allies skillfully the flavours from Provence to a modern and creative slowly spicy cooking.
Organized in seasonal theme from the regional products among which here are some examples

Spring : Lamb from the Luberon candied with the juice of thyme

Summer : "Pissaladière" of mullet with ratatouille

Autumn : Shortbread biscuit with Parmesan and autumn mixed fried mushrooms

Winter : Capuccino of pumpkin and whipped cream emulsified with smoked bacon

At lunchtime the restaurant proposes a menu. You can choose between 2 entrances, 2 main courses : fish or meat, and 2 desserts.
Saturday noon le Platane proposes at the menu gilthead bream or bass with olive oil, fennel and thyme
Very appreciated at the end of the market, it is careful to reserve.
Service till 2 pm.
