2010 Apt parade : a great program
The traditional parade of Pentecost which takes place at Apt every year, for this 127-th edition did not fail in its reputation.
2010 in this spring, from 21th till 24th May, the town was in excitement and even the weather did not manage to waste this celebration waited by all the people. If Apt parade exists since 1857, it's that it knew in the course of time, to be renewed while respecting tradition, to continue to please year by year. This 127-th edition pleasantly surprised more than one person and this parade will stay for a long time in memories.
The program of this parade took place on 4 days, was missing nothing so that it is a success. Streets shows in the four places of the city with the Ska Barré circus and its jugglers, clowns, acrobats, tightrope walkers. The sons of Time treated us of their spectacle, quite as the troop Brightness of Scene. A caravan gypsy winding among floats, it is the Movies Gipsy! And the projections which illuminated the night-parade of it on Saturday evening. An opened parade of floats this year by His Majesty Carton, a local celebrity, the mason singer of Luberon, who gave the tone of this parade. Floats realized for the occasion competed all of originality and to know how to make, a true delight for eyes!
A novelty this year a battle of brass bands with 120 musicians! Brass bands of big quality, come by far for this challenge: Rara Woulib quite straight ahead taken out of the Haitian tradition, the brass band of Thiene, Cie Noise, "Bontuillos", Kadors and Auguste Brass Band. The city also welcomed Alexia the huge Diva who amazed us by its voice down from its 4 metres! The Parade would not be what it is without traditional popular ball, orchestrated this year by the Armless Bandits, a true delight for ears!
For this 127-th edition of Apt parade, it was missing nothing for the celebration: street shows, brass bands, parade of float, popular ball, cavalcade and carnival for the delight of all the people!
