On November 27th, is the day chosen as the big launch of the illuminations of the holidays of the end of year. The city of Apt makes herself brilliant to admit you to the enchantment of Christmas.

Apt gets ready for the holidays of the end of year
It is one on Friday evening of November as every others, it's 18.30 on the place of Bouquerie in some moments the tranquillity of this town is going to be disturbed...
This November Friday 27th is a particular day for the city and inhabitants, it was indeed chosen to be the day of the launch of the illuminations of the holidays of the end of year which will last until January 8th, 2010. Numerous persons collected on the place not to miss the beginning of these festivities. Olivier Curel, mayor of the city of Apt, Mister Beccera, president of the Commercial and craft Grouping of the Country of Apt, and Miss Blachère send to the persons present a small discour for these holidays of the end of year.
Here is come the hour of discount of the Mayor 1, 2 and 3 ! Of young people and less young chose for the occasion press on the button and the magic operate! The proud column of Bouquerie adorns itself its brilliant atours, the trees of the city begin sparkling and a stream of light comes to illuminate streets. Everywhere in the city, at instigation of the commercial grouping, small spruces stream of blue lights. Hour is for the dream, hour is for the enchantment of Christmas!
A great surprise waits still for the come persons to celebrate the beginning of this happy period. Sir mayor and storekeepers of the city gives meeting to the crowd on the "cours Lauze de Perret". There, an immense floodlit spruce 5 metres in height waits for the spectators who are not at the end of their surprises. Some moments later, the first rockets of great fireworks are thrown in the sky. Surprise is total, spectacle is for height and the curious onlookers are delighted. The holidays of the end of year announce under the best auspices for the city of Apt.
The launch of these holidays of the end of 2009, would not have been a total success without the competition of the storekeepers of the city. It is due to the company from Apt all over the world known, Blachère Illumination, that the city takes advantage of last innovations in illumination and it forward first. And at the hour when ecology is a stake, leds used for illuminations respect the standards of environmental protection. The firework as for him, was offered by another storekeeper of the city, managing of the Aptafête society.
A big cheer for the municipality and in the storekeepers of the city of Apt to have offered us a little of magic of Christmas prematurely...
