The 19th edition of this Optic 2000 Motor Tour passed by the roads of the Luberon. In this April 23rd, 2010 racing cars were in passage through Apt.

Optic 2000 motor tour reaches its 19th edition and its success does not stop growing as time goes by.
This year it is from 19 till 24 April 2010 that it took place, the competitors left for a 2000 km trip, crossing the roads of France aboard them magnificent racing cars. A trip which drove them from Paris to Beaulieu sur Mer by way of the Mont Ventoux, the luberon in Apt and Aix en Provence.
This motor tour is made for the lovers of beautiful routes, the course is carefully prepared and integrates every year new stages. But it is not only a very attractive stroll on the roads of France, there is also some competition. Timed tests on circuits or closed roads come to add a little hot pepper to this mechanical adventure.
Optic 2000 motor tour exists since 1992, it is a retrospective of the Motor "Tour de France", to participate in this event it is necessary to register a car which is a model having run the Motor "Tour de France" between 1951 and 1973. This year for example it is not less than sixteen Ferrari 250GT that participated in this Tour, the lovers of motor sports and classic cars were for the party.
