In the Luberon and more generally on the Vaucluse department roads and hiking trails are not lacking. Several thousands of kilometers of roads are waiting for you.

The variety of the proposed routes offers one thousand one manners to approach hiking :

Sports, with hiking trails through forests, "Forêt des cèdres" for example and scrublands, to discover caves, cliffs, and some curiosities : the bories which forged the identity of the Luberon.

Cultural and traditional with the perched villages which are so many falling points for provisioning and accommodation.

Historic on the tracks of Roman or Waldensian.

Walking trails in Luberon Vaucluse

Walking trails (circuits from 1 hour till the day) are very interesting for a better knowledge of the "Country" and an excellent base to discover the environment. They are also a good ground of initiation for the "hiking trails". Do not forget that these paths are all maintained by volunteers' associations.

"Notre Dame d'Aubune"
This walk will lead you from Beaume de Venise to Dentelles de Montmirail, you will discover a magnificent landscape and a beautiful monument.

From Manosque to Pont-Saint-Esprit by Oppédette, Sault, Malaucène, Rasteau and Montdragon.

From Oppédette to Mérindol by Saint Saturnin lès Apt, Gordes, Fontaine de Vaucluse and Robion.

- GR 9: Jura-Côte d´Azur
From Brantes to Mirabeau by Monnieux, Villars, Apt, Vaugines and Vitrolles.

From Brantes to Fontaine de Vaucluse by Malaucène, Bédouin and Méthamis.

From Méthamis to Saint-Huber.

- GR 91 B : Tour du Mont Ventoux
From Bédouin to Brantes by Sault .

- GR 97: Tour du Luberon
From Mérindol to Montjustin by Cucuron.

Vaison la Romaine, Séguret, Gigondas, Beaumes de Venise, le Barroux, le Crestet.

- GR de Pays de la Durance
From Mérindol to Cadenet, in project till Mirabeau bridge, linking GR 6 to GR 9.

- GR de Pays de la Pierre "Ventoux-Luberon" ou Sentier Géologique
From Bédouin to Mormoiron, Mallemort, Murs, Buoux then Céreste to the east, or Oppède to the west.
