Dating Roman time, this hydraulic milling complex served for feeding Arles city with water and with flour. Milling could deliver until 4,5 tons of flour all days! Classified partially ancient memorial and registers as world patrimony of the UNESCO, this set is the only mill with vertical wheels known. It is a beautiful example of the knowledge of the antique world in mechanics.
