The Bories village

The Bories Village of Gordes with its sheepfold, wine vats, area to fly the wheat, alleys, yards and walls, reflects the painstaking work of countless generations. Nearly 3000 years of continuity, since the origin of Bories back to the Bronze Age and that recent were built in the eighteenth century. The village of Bories, scored "historical monument" in 1977, is the largest group of dry stone habitat characteristic of Apt country.
